Twelve Tags of Christmas

I remember the first year I followed The Twelve Tags of Christmas on Tim's blog. I think the only product I had was Distress Ink!
Today is no exception. So I used what product I did have and improvised for the rest, that's what makes this so much fun!
Day one tag:  I dry embossed with the snowflake texture fade using the technique Tim used on his blog. For peace I used a flourish from my stash and black A/C Thickers which I covered with Snowcap (Dabber), and dried with my heat gun (Tim Holtz), I then used my glue pad and sprinkled silver glitter over that. Next came the banner which I cut free hand to look like his die and sprayed that with Chocolate Chip Blackboard spray from Tattered Angels. I didn't have the pine cone die so I used real ones that I dabbed with the Snowcap (Dabber). I did have the Tim Holtz limited edition holiday Distress inks which I bought from my favorite Scrapbook Store ! I used velvet and hand cut holly leaves with a touch of textile fringe. Completing my tag with a vintage jingle bell. Thanks for looking!
